Bicycling in Canada and the USA

Advertisements

A1 Bicycling Guide is your gateway to biking in Canada and the USA. Regional pages for each province and state provide information about road biking and bike paths.

You can access the bike page for any state or province by selecting from the pull-down list at the top left-hand corner menu on every page. At the bottom of each page there are links to resources such as weather forecast, tourist bureaus and sites with regional biking content.

Note: The surfaces of certain trails listed as bike paths may be in poor condition and may only be suitable for mountain bikes. The trails we have listed as bike paths are usually surfaced with gravel unless specified otherwise. Even so, they are sometimes subject to wash-out or property disputes. Before heading to a destination with a bike trail, check with the local tourist bureau to make certain that the trail is open.

Recommend a Trail  You can suggest a bike trail for listing by clicking on the Add a bike route link located at the bottom of each regional page. Rate a trail by clicking on the "Rate this Trail" link located beneath each listing.

TipsThe Biking Tips page has info on safety and other aspects of biking.

ClubsBike Clubs has hundreds of American and Canadian bicycle clubs and organizations.

EventsBike Events lists annual non-profit bike tours and other events in Canada and the US.

LinksLinks page has a list of biking links not included in the pages above.
