Livestrong Challenge (formerly Ride for the Roses) Austin, Texas
Walk, run or ride 10 to 100 miles to raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Fund for cancer patient care. Riders must raise a minimum $250 in pledges (2008)

Tour de Goliad Goliad, Texas
Sponsored by Goliad County Chamber of Commerce, this ride is held in the third oldest town in Texas. Rides arre 10 to 85 miles in length: 10 mile goes past historic missions and through the town of Goliad, 30-50-85 all go north of town throught ranch land, small towns, and over rolling hills. Entry fee: $20 (2004)
