Hiking Trails in WisconsinThe following map shows only the approximate locations of trails.
Hiking Trails in WisconsinA short section of the North Country National Scenic Trail nips across the northern tip of the state. A 60-mile segment of trail through the Chequamegon National Forest, called the North Country Trail, predates the NCNST. Another long-distance trail through Wisconsin is the 1,000-mile Ice Age Trail so called because of the glaciation that occured in the region during that period. Many short and several long segments of the trail are complete.
Trail ratings are submitted by visitors to this site who have biked the trails and thus are subjective.
