User comments: Amazing coastal views where we spotted seals playing just off shore and 3 whales about a mile or so off shore. August is perfect for finding wild blueberries along the path. Saw bear prints in the mud and some BIG piles of what we believe was Moose poop!

Trail Name: The Bold Coast
Times hiked: Few
Date last hiked: August, 2002
Trails hiked: I really don't remember the trail names but I have hiked the entire system. It is approximately a 10 mile loop with 5 mile shortcut as an option.
Favourite trails: The trail along the cliffs overlooking the bay is amazing
Best time to go: summer and fall (beware of hunters in the fall)
Trail marking: Fair
Trail maintenance: Very good
Rating: 4 stars
What I liked: The scenerey along the coastal trail is fantastic. The inland trail isn't as good but worth it once you reach the coast
What I disliked: No real complaints. You have to be aware of hunters in the fall. Bugs further inland during late spring early summer
