Trails: There are 30 miles of hiking trails that can be accessed from five different trailheads. From the summits of Battie Mountain and Mount Megunticook (1,380 feet), the highest mountain in the park, there are magnificent views of Penobscot Bay.

Additional comments: In the fall, the stone steps are picturesque and the difference between sunrise in the fall compared to in the winter.
