Trails: There are 165 miles of trails crisscrossing the island and no roads, so hiking is the only means of transportation on the island. The ferry stops at the north and south ends of the island making it possible to hike the island one-way from end to end.

What I liked: solitude, serenity, sights
What I disliked: everything about the park is just beyond words....so i'll excuse the mosquitos!
Additional comments: the quality of people you meet in this park is amazing....i've never met any offensive people in the back country. unbelievable in this day and age!
