Trail Name: Cardigan State Park
I have hiked there: Several times
I last hiked there in: May, 2004
Trails that I hiked: West Ridge Trail 1.5miles 3 miles
round trip.
Favorite trails: West Ridge Trail
Best time to go: Summer time on a warm, clear, dry day
Trail marking: Very good
Trail maintenance: Very good
Rating: 4 stars
What I liked: The summit is 365 degrees with nice views.
You can see the Green Mountains in the distance. At the top it is
a rock face with tons of room. There is a 24-7 manned fire tower
that you can go into.
What I disliked: Gets boring after a lot of hikes
Additional comments: Its a very nice day hike. If you want
great views, try one of the Green or White Mountains
