Trails: Groton State Forest offers 13 short trails for hiking, ranging up to 3 miles in length and a 7-mile secton of abandoned railroad. The trails are interconnected and can be combined to form loops. Three peaks accessed by the trails are just under the 2,000 foot elevation.
