Trails: Haystack (elevation 3,223 feet) & Belvidere Mountains (elev. 3,360) near Montgomery Center are each a challenging 2- to 3-mile climb from the trailheads but have rewarding views from the top. The trail forms a section of the Long Trail. Two side trails, the Foresters and Frank Post, can be combined to make a 6-mile loop up to Tillotson Camp and Belvidere. Access fee: None, but membership in the GMC helps support the trail.
