Trails: Hazen's Notch Conservation Center is a privately operated nature conserve with about 15 miles of trails on 700 acres of land. Located within a few miles of Hazen's Notch pass, the network of trails cross overgrown farmland, skirt ponds and lead 2 miles to the top of Burnt Mountain (2,700 feet). The center's trails do not connect with the Long Trail which traverses the higher peaks of Haystack and Belvidere. Access fee: None, but contributions to the trail fund help support the center.
