Massachusetts State Park Usage Fees

Parking fees or annual passes are required at many Massachusetts state parks and state forests. Parking fees cost $2 to $5 per car, depending on the facilities provided. Annual passes are $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents.

Additional fees are charged for certain activities such as skiing on groomed trails. There's no charge for day hiking or for snowshoeing.

Camping fees range from $10 to $15, depending on the services provided. Reservations for campsites cost $10.

Usage Fees for Reservations in Massachusetts

Admission to most public lands administered by the Trustees of Reservations requires either an annual pass or the purchase of a day pass. Fees vary from center to center and generally range up to a few dollars per person. An annual membership that grants free (or reduced price) admission to all reservations costs $45 for an individual or $65 for a family pass.
