Massachusetts State Park Usage Fees

Day or annual passes are required for all vehicles entering Massachusetts state parks. Day passes cost $2 to $7 per car, depending on the facilities. Season passes are $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents.

Additional fees are charged for certain activities such as skiing on groomed trails. There's no charge for day hiking or for snowshoeing.

Camping fees range from $10 to $15, depending on the services provided. Reservations for campsites cost $10.

Usage Fees for National Parks in Massachusetts

Entry passes are required for all vehicles or persons entering national parks. Passes that are good for a week cost $5 per vehicle and $3 per person without a vehicle. Annual passes are $15 for a specific park. An annual pass for all national parks can also be purchased.

Usage Fees for Reservations in Massachusetts

Admission to most public lands administered by the Trustees of Reservations requires either an annual pass or the purchase of a day pass. Fees vary from center to center and generally range up to a few dollars per person. An annual membership to all reservations costs $40 for an individual or $60 for a family pass.
