Trails: Several trails are at various locations around the Petoskey region and form part of the North Country Trail.
Wildwood Hills Pathway - 3 stacked loops for a total length of 10 miles, rated easy to intermediate.
Spring Brook Pathway - 3 easy loops totaling 8 miles.
North Country Trail - 50-mile linear trail through Boyne Falls and Petoskey rated novice to intermediate.
North Country Trail - 33-mile linear trail from Petoskey to Wildwood State Park, rated intermediate to expert

Trail map: The Bicycling Up North brochure has maps of four trails in the Petoskey area and is available from the tourist bureau and bike stores in Petoskey. Trails are in the the Trail Atlas of Michigan.

Best time to go: Fall, September and October, trails are dry and bug free!!

What I liked: excellent diversity of trails, roller coaster single track, flat out open double track,and plenty of wildlife viewing in the evenings of turkey, deer and bear.
