Area name: Jacobsburg State Park
Number of times riding the trail: Weekly
I last rode there in: Nov, 2004
Trails that I have ridden: I have been riding there for over ten years haven't got out there this year though. Yet
Favorite trails: I don't think they have names but all around the park there are some quick downhills alot of fun when you learn where they are and get a routine down.
Best time to go: All year my favorite time is in the middle of the summer right before a real bad thunderstorms until the ground gets too saturated it is alot of fun.
Trail marking: Poor
Trail maintenance: Very good
Rating: 4 stars
What I liked: It is a great place to go to have some fun with your friends, But if your are looking for steep intense downhills go to Jim Thorpe or south mountain near the star of bethlehem(never bring anyone under qualified to south mountain or Jim Thorpe they are great places to hurt yourself at.
What I disliked: Horses, Horse Sh#T, Saturdays and Sundays (they should put traffic lights at every major intersection it gets a little crowded just a tad:).
Comments: This is a big one WHEN RIDING IN THE FALL DON"T WEAR BROWN YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO WEAR SOME HUNTER'S ORANGE BLAZE TO BE SAFE!!! Do not jump into the quarry there the water is thick and cloudy and there is underwater springs caring the water out you don't want to get stuck in the rocks that could suck.
