Mountain Biking at Chequamegon National Forest

Trails: About 300 miles of trail in are maintained by the Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association. Trails are arranged in six clusters: three in the National Forest in the Delta, Drummond and Namakagon areas and three in the Cable, Seeley and Hayward regions. The Cable area is the site of the annual Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival in September.
Trails range from easy road sections and moderate singletrack to hilly ski trails such as the infamous Birkebeiner Trail beteen Cable and Hayward.
