Pennsylvania State Park Usage Fees

Entry to Pennsylvania state parks and forests is free. Additional fees may be charged for certain activities such as skiing on groomed trails. There's no charge for day hiking or for snowshoeing.

Camping fees for unserviced sites are $15 mid-week and $19 on weekends. Electrical hook-ups are $5 extra. Persons that are not residents of Pennsylvania must pay $2 extra. Backpackers must purchase backcountry permits for camping at Laurel Ridge and Oil Creek State Parks ($4 per person per night).

Cabin rentals range from about $200 per week for a small rustic cabin to $500 for a large modern one. Non-residents of Pennsylvania are charged about 20% extra. Cabins can be rented by the night during the low season at about one quarter the weekly rate.

Usage Fees for National Parks in Pennsylvania

Entry fees are not charged at Delaware Water Gap NRA but Expanded Amenity Fees are charged for certain sites in the park ($7 per vehicle on weekdays, $10 on weekends or $1 per person on foot or bicycle). An annual vehicle pass good only for this park costs $45, an individual pass is $10. The America the Beautiful pass is not valid here except that it does provide a 50% discount on the cost of the park's annual pass.
