A1 Bicycling Guide is your gateway to rail trails and bike paths in the northeastern USA. On each regional page there are links to resources such as weather forecast, tourist bureaus and sites with regional content.

Note: This site is not comprehensive -- only trails with a length of more than 6 miles are listed. Mountain biking trails are listed in the Mountain biking section of this site. Hiking trails are listed in the Hiking pages.

Recommend or Rate a Trail  You can suggest a bike trail for listing by clicking on the Add a Trail link located at the bottom of each regional page. Rate a trail by clicking on the "Rate this Trail" link located beneath each listing.
