Getting to the trail: From the Branford, Connecticut Green, go east on Main Street. Turn right on CT-146/Montowese Street. Turn left onto Pine Orchard Road. Turn left on Birch Road. The Branford Day Care Center is at 16 Birch Road. The parking area and trail head are next to the Day Care Center.
