Trail description: The Clinton River Trail is a 15-mile rail trail between Sylvan Lake and Rochester. To the west it connects with the West Bloomfield Trail which continues 4 miles westwards. In Rochester the east end of the Clinton River Trail links with the Paint Creek Trail to the north and the Macomb Orchard Trail to the east.
Access fee: None, but membership helps support the trail
Towns along the trail: Sylvan Lake, Pontiac, Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills and Rochester, Michigan

Trail surface: Crushed limestone with some paved sections

Getting to the trail: A parking lot is in Beaudette Park in Sylvan Lake near the west end of the trail. Three other access points are located along the trail.
