Trail description: The Luce Line multi-use trail travels 63 miles from Cosmos east to Plymouth, a western suburb of the Twin Cities. West of Winsted the trail has a gravel surface that may require wide tires. A treadway for horseback riding parallels part of the trail. Designated activities: Bicycling, walking, horseback riding, xc skiing, snowmobiling (west of Stubb's Bay Road) Facilities on the trail: Reststops and toilets are located at several points along the trail. Points of interest: The trail passes along the north shore of Lake Minnetonka. Lodging: Twin Cities has lots of choices.
