What I liked: long, wide, lots of ponds off it, sand pits and small trail off it, and most off all runs though my back yard.
What I disliked: bump when not groomed
Comments: make sure if you are under 16 to have a green card, helmet nad gogles, i have learned the hard way, dont ride the day after a big snow storm on a atv you will get killed by snowsleds, make shure u know the ponds good befour you ride on them in the winter.

Times biking the trail: Once
Date of last visit: August, 2002
Sections that I biked: Lake Massabesic to West Epping approx 16.5 miles.
My favourite sections of the trail: Nearly all sections. A few sections have sand for short distances.
Best time to go: Summer and Fall
Trail marking: Very good
Trail maintenance: Very good
Rating: 4 stars
Likes and dislikes: Loved the peaceful, scenic ride on a shady woodland trail. I disliked the two tunnels beneath route 101 (low with rocky & steep access) and few sandy sections- short distances here and there.
Comments: Tunnels were the worse part. Many scenic views especially Lake Massabesic and Onway. Great wild life. I saw a doe that watched me till I got to within 50 ft before darting off. Another biker told me of a moose he had seen. Interesting stop in the quaint town of Raymond. Signs indicate other hiking trails and places to eat. I brought my own lunch and ate on the trail. Not perfect but really worthwhile ++++.
