Best time to go:
Trail marking: Very good
Trail maintenance: Fair
Rating: 4.5 stars
What I liked: Very nice rural trail that passes through farmland with nice views of the Ridgeline.
What I disliked: Could be better maintained as parts of the trail do need brush cut back and drainage improved especially after a heavy rain. But overall one of my favorite trails and well worth the drive.
Comments: Trail can be muddy after a heavy rainfall. The Railroad trestle in Rosendale is a nice spot to have lunch but there are no benches to sit on. The Main St. bistro is a great spot for food after the ride.

What I disliked: from gardiner to roendale I clocked about 13.5 miles trail should continue to kingston, in other than new paltz part of trail surface should be solite or hwy milings.
