Trail description: 16-mile gravel surfaced trail from Dilltown east to Nanty Glo. It gets its name from the five abandoned mining towns along its route.

My favourite sections of the trail: Downhill from Nanty Glo to Dilltown, and scenic Spur to North along North Branch of Blacklick Creek.
Best time to go: Spring or fall

Likes and dislikes: Great scenery and lots of interesting historical markers. Spur to north along North Branch of Blacklick creek is wonderfully wild.
Comments: Use two cars and start at Nanty Glo to avoid a long uphill ride. Leave car in Dilltown at West end of trail, lowest elevation. Good icecream and B+B in Dilltown.
