The Eastern Trail is a proposed 62-mile link in the planned East Coast Greenway, from South Portland, Maine, to Portsmouth, NH.

A feasibility study is underway for the development of the Down East Trail, a 126-mile rail-with-trail between Calais and Brewer. It too, would be a section of the East Coast Greenway.
