Trail name: Bearskin & Hiawatha State Trail Times biking the trail: Once Date of last visit: July, 2002 Sections that I biked: Hwy K to Minocqua and back. My favourite sections of the trail: South one third which had the more water, nice scenic bridges, and less people. Although not a busy trail anyways. Best time to go: Summer and Fall Trail marking: Fair Trail maintenance: Very good Rating: 4 stars What I liked: I was able to come away with a few great pictures of the creek and bridges. Fairly remote location ( for me ). I liked having Minocqua as the halfway point and time to take a break. What I disliked: Not any bike racks in Minocqua. Comments: Dairy Queen ice cream in Minocqua.
