Trail description: 26-mile rail trail from Medford north to Prentice. Currently the trail ends on the outskirts of the towns but there are plans to extend it to the center of each town.

Points of interest: The northern section of the trail passes a terminal moraine dating from the ice age. Along the northern section there are wetlands. The southern section passes typical Wisconsin dairyland.

Camping: Campgrounds are in Medford City Park and Rib Lake Village Park
