Trail description: The Tri-County Corridor Trail is a 60-mile rail trail from Superior to Ashland shared with ATVs. The west end of the trail links to the Osaugie Trail which runs 5 miles along the lakeshore of the town of Superior.
Access fee: Pass required for ATVs
Towns along the trail: Superior (pop 28,000), Iron River, Ashland (pop 8,700), WI

Trail map: The west section of the trail is shown on the Douglas County Trails map
Trail surface: Tri-County Trail has a gravel surface, though may be rough or muddy in places due to ATV use (mountain bike recommended). Osaugie Trail is paved.
Designated activities: Bicycling, walking, inline skating on the Osaugie. Mountain biking, walking, ATVing and snowmobiling on the Tri-County.
Facilities on the trail: In Superior and Ashland
Points of interest: S.S. Meteor Maritime Museum, a whaleback freighter, in Superior. Wisconsin Point in Superior has birdwatching and miles of sandy beaches. Chequamagon National Forest. Amnicon Falls State Park has a series of waterfalls and rapids. South Shore Brewery in Ashland.
Lodging: Superior and Ashland have several choices of accommodation.
Camping: Amnicon Falls State Park offers 36 sites. Wanoka Lake Campground in Chequamegon National Forest

Getting to the trail: Access the Tri-County Trail in Superior or Ashland. The trail runs adjacent to Highway 2 for almost its entire length.
