Trails: Several trails at throughout Chugach State Park are groomed for cross-country skiing. Three main areas are Eklutna Lake, Glen Alps and Prospect Heights. There are also many ungroomed trails in the park but some are used by snowmobiles.
Caution: Some backcountry trails may be exposed to avalanche hazard.
Caution: Avalanche hazard may exist on some of the steeper backcountry trails.

Location of trails: Trails are located throughout Chugach park east of Anchorage. Eklutna Lake is accessed from the Glenn Highway at the town of Eklutna, 20 miles northeast of Anchorage. Glen Alps and Prospect Heights are just east of Anchorage.
