Trails: The Kachemak Nordic Ski Club grooms more than 50 km (30 miles) of trails for skate and classic cross-country skiing at three areas: Baycrest, McNeil Canyon and Lookout Mountain. Connecting the Lookout Mountain and Bayfield trail systems, the Marathon Trail is only groomed for the Kachemak Marathon Ski in March.

Location of trails: Homer is at the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula, about 225 miles south of Anchorage. The Baycrest Trails are accessed from the Sterling Highway west of Homer. Lookout trails are om Ohlson Mountain Road. McNeil Canyon trails are 12 miles east of Homer on the East End Road.
