Trails: Mineral Creek has about 36 km (22 miles) of trails groomed for cross-country skiing (skating and classic) by Valdez Parks and Rec. With an annual snowfall of over 300 inches, there are also many backcountry skiing opportunities in the Valdez area. Several guide services offer heli-skiing and backcountry lodging.
