Trails: At Hatcher Pass there are 20 km (12 miles) of trails that are groomed for cross-country skiing, including some for skating. There are also some backcountry trails. The 4,000+ elevation means that there is a long ski season. Hence, it is an October training site for the U.S. Cross-Country Ski Team.
