Trails: Eagle River Nordic Ski Club maintains more than 25 km of trails for cross-country skiing, groomed for skate and classic with the assistance of the Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage. There are three separate trail networks: Beach Lake trails, Mirror Lake Coyote trails and Edmonds Lake multiuse trails
Trail fees: No charge, but purchasing an Eagle River season pass helps support the trails

Location of trails: Eagle River is about 15 miles north of Anchorage on Highway 1. Beach Lake chalet and trails are located just north of the Chugiak High School (16525 South Birchwood Loop Road, Eagle River N61.371071, W149.537192). Mirror Lake Coyote Trails are in Edmonds Lake Municipal Park near Mirror Lake Middle School. Edmonds Lake multiuse trails are on the opposite side of the highway.
