Trails: Tioga Pass Resort, located on the east side of Yosemite Park, offers lots of backcountry trails for experienced tourers. During the winter the lodge is a 6.5 km ski from the trailhead (about 6 miles west of Lee Vining) but snowcat transport may be available. Highway 120 through Yosemite Park is closed in winter.
