Trails: At Montecito Lake Lodge (formerly Montecito-Sequoia Lodge) there are more than 30 km (18 miles) of trails groomed for cross-country skiing--both classic and skating techniques. There are also lots of backcountry trails in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park and the Sequoia National Forest.
There are also some trails suitable for skiing a little further south in Sequoia National Park at Wolverton Meadow and among the giant sequoia trees in Giant Forest.
