Trails: At Spring Gulch there are 19 km (11 miles) of trails that are groomed for cross-country skiing by the Mount Sopris Nordic Council. Most of the trails are rated More Difficult, a few are Easiest and Most Difficult.

Location of trails: Spring Gulch is about 7 miles southwest of Carbondale. Take Main St west to County Rd-106/Satank Rd, continue on County Rd-108/Thompson Creek Rd and follow Thompson Creek Rd to the center.
