Trails: Piney Creek Nordic Center offers 25 km (15 miles) of trails groomed for cross-country skiing (classic and skating) at elevation above 10,000 feet. Tennessee Pass Cookhouse, a gourmet restaurant is located in a yurt 1 mile down a trail from the trailhead (reservations required).
There are also groomed trails at several locations near Leadville: at Colorado Mountain College (20 km of trails), the 11.6 mile multi-use trail around Leadville, Turquoise Lake Road (15 miles) and Mount Massive Golf Course (5 km).
