Trails: Crested Butte Nordic grooms 42 km (27 miles) of trails for cross-country skiing (classic and skating) at an elevation of around 9,000 feet. The trails consist of 20% rated Easy, 50% Intermediate and 30% Advanced. The not-for-profit center offers a Thanksgiving Ski Training Camp and the Alley Loop Marathon in early February. The center's lodge is on the south side of the town of Crested Butte at Second St and Whiterock Avenue. About half the trails are accessed from the lodge, the rest are on the north side of town.
