Trails: At Steamboat Lake State Park 15 km (9 miles) of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing (skate and classic) by the Steamboat Lake Snow Club. Trails are rated easy except for a couple difficult sections. A Citizen Ski Race is held in late January.

Location of trails: Steamboat Lake State Park is about 25 miles north of Steamboat Springs. Take County Road 129 north of Clark to Hahn's Peak Village. The trails are best accessed by parking behind the visitor center or in the park's marina parking lot.
