Trails: Steamboat Touring Center grooms 13 km (9 miles) of trails for cross-country skiing (skate and classic). Approximately half the trails are rated Easy and Half Intermediate. For apres-ski consider taking a relaxing soak in the Old Town Hot Springs at the corner of 3rd and Lincoln.

Location of trails: Steamboat Touring Center is on the east side of Steamboat Springs near Steamboat Resort. Take Mt Werner Road to Steamboat Blvd then Clubhouse Road north to the center. A shuttle runs between the center and Steamboat Resort twice a day.

What I liked: The scenery was excellent, and the variety of terrain made the sking very fun.
What I disliked: They are being shortened because of housing developements.
Comments: It has a very nice shop and a restaurant with the best cookies in the world.
