Trails: In Mesa Verde National Park the 10 km (6 miles) Cliff Palace Loop Road near the ruins of Anasazi cliff dwellings can ocasionally be covered in enough snow for cross-country skiing. Snowfall is generally insufficient except for a few days after major storms.
