Trails: The Teton Valley Trails and Pathways Association grooms a total of 30 km (18 miles) of trails for cross-country skiing in three separate areas near Driggs, ID, and Alta, WY:
Alta - 10 km (6 miles) Easy to more challenging trails, dogs permitted
Teton Canyon - 13 km (8 miles) Easy linear trail along a creek, dogs permitted
Teton Springs - 7 km (4 miles) on golf course
Teton Ridge Ranch was once a resort with 30 km of ski trails, but is no longer in operation. Now a private residence, the owners allow the trails to be used once a year for the Teton Ridge Classic ski race. Trail fees: $5/day donation can be placed in trailhead receptacles (winter 2009-10) Grooming is funded by donations or purchasing a membership. Tel: 208-201-1622
