Trails: Near Magic Mountain Ski Resort the South Hills Cross Country Ski Area offers 32 km (20 miles) of trails for cross-country skiing. The trailsystem is comprised of five separate parts at various points along the access road. The High Desert Nordic Club maintains the trails and grooms about 6 miles of the total. The rest are left ungroomed.

Location of trails: Magic Mountain Ski Resort is about 36 miles south of Idaho Falls. There are five parking lots, one for each trailhead. There are two at Magic Mountain, one south of the resort, and two north of the resort.
