Name of area: Great Brook Farm State Park
Times that I have skied there: Weekly
I last skied there in: Dec, 2002
Trails that I skied: Almost every inch of trails and woods in the carlisle state forest, of which great brook is a part
My favorite trails: stone circle, which is actually just outside of great brook proper when there is at least nine inches on the ground
Trail marking: Very good
Trail grooming: Fair
Rating: 3 stars
What I liked: I live just off the trails
What I disliked: Too few groomed trails and terrain is too mellow, however is where I have skied since I started so it does constitute somewhat of a standard
Comments: trails some time cross the roads and due to local geology and work by the park service there are a lot of rocks on areas outside of the groomed trails. Bring your rock skis.
