What I liked: Excellent trail layout, nice grooming, great down hills, no crowds
What I disliked: lots of up hill!
Comments: I talked with the folks in the rental shop, they are opening up a yurt for a new and cozy warming space.

Trails that I skied: all theintermediates, some of the easy
My favorite trails:
Trail marking: Very good
Trail grooming: Very good
Rating: 4.5 stars
What I liked: Interesting intermediate trails (slight curves on downhills). Good trail width.
What I disliked: Some in my party thought there were too many hills. Just remember that "mountain" is in the title.
Comments: Very good equipment at ski shop (others in my party rented.) Bring your own lunch since food wagon is not always there.

Trail marking: Very good
Trail grooming: Very good

What I liked:
What I disliked: Beginners should know that this ski center is very hilly. You're either going UP or DOWN - very little flat terrain for beginners.
Basically, a good afternoon at Northfield means a long climb UP followed by a very pleasant, long glide DOWN.

Trail marking: Very good
Trail grooming: Very good

What I liked: Well laid out.
What I disliked: Can hear road from some trails.
Comments: Excellent grooming, but limited food service.
