Name of XC Area: Sunday River Ski Area Times that I have skied there: Weekly I last skied there in: Jan, 2005 Trails that I skied: Inn Loops (a combination of several trails), Wannigan, Rollway, American Harrow My favorite trails: same, plus Covered bridge trail Trail marking: Very good Trail grooming: Very good Rating: 4.5 stars What I liked: Scenery is wonderful, sunny and wooded, hills and valleys. Trails are quiet, wide, with both skate and classic options - easy to negotiate. Wide range of difficulty levels. What I disliked: Occasional holes in snow, where there had been some flooding (minor). Comments: Sunday River Inn is right on the same property and is a wonderful family destination with a dining room, sauna, hot tub, games/puzzles, and a sledding hill.
Sunday River Downhill Ski area - 1/4 mile away.
