Suntrac Trails and Al Quaal Recreation Area

Trails: Suntrac has 25 km (15 miles) of trails groomed for cross-country skiing at Hill Street and around the Suicide Ski Jump operated by the Ishpeming Ski Club. At the nearby Al Quaal Recreation Area there are 20 km (12 miles) of trails snowcat groomed by Noquemanon Trails.
Trail fees: Noquemanon Trails day pass, good for all the trails groomed by the club, can be purchased at the National Ski Hall of Fame and several other locations, adults $8, kids $5 (winter 2008-9)

Location of trails: There are two trailheads for Suntrac at Hill street on the south side of Ishpeming. Al Quaal is on the north side of Ishpemingo off Hickory Street.
