Trails: Black Mountain Forest Pathway has about 25 km (15 miles) of trails groomed for cross-country skiing by the DNR and volunteers from the Thunder Bay Trails Association. The trails are the site of the annual Black Mountain Nordic Classic.

Comments: Have to be watchfull of intersecting snowmobile trails.
