Trails: Black Mountain Forest Pathway has about 25 km (15 miles) of trails groomed for cross-country skiing by the DNR and volunteers from the Thunder Bay Trails Association. Two of the trails are rated Easy, and the remaining three are Most Difficult. The trails are the site of the annual Black Mountain Nordic Classic.
