Eagle Run Trail

Trails: At Eagle Run 12 km (7 miles) of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing (both skate and classic) by the Huron-Manistee National Forest. The trails are mainly Easy and are mostly one-way - please follow the direction of signage.
Also, just to the west is the Highbanks trail, an ungroomed linear trail extending 11 km (7 miles) along the picturesque Au Sable River. The east end of the trail is rated Most Difficult, the remainder is Easy.

Location of trails: The access to the Eagle Run trails is about 2 miles west of Oscoda on River Road. West of eagle Run, the Highbanks trail has four accesses: Sid Town Village, Canoer's Memorial, Lumberjack Monument and Iargo Springs.
