Trails: Mason Tract Pathway encompasses 18 km (11 miles) of trails that are groomed for cross-country skiing. There is a main linear trail extending 9.5 miles between the parking lots. Two short loops along the main trail are each about 1 mile in length.

What I liked: This is more a scenic hike on snow than a ski trail. Beautiful views of the Au Sable is enough reason to make the trip. Start early A.M. for the best chance to see wildlife.
What I disliked:
Comments: Just rememeber snow conditions vary on this ungroomed trail. Come back after snow with canoe or kayak for a serene float on an unspoiled gem.
