Location of trails: North Higgins State Park is located at 11747 N. Higgins Lake Drive on the north shore of Higgins Lake, about 8 miles west of Roscommon. Take Exit 244 off I-75, go west on Old Highway 76 (Roscommon Road) which later becomes N Higgins Road. After 3 miles the road curves north and and west then enters the park. The trailhead parking lot is on the north side of the highway.
