Minnesota Ski Pass

Advertisements

The Minnesota Ski Pass is required (for all skiers aged 16 or older) at almost all public cross-country ski areas, including state parks. State Parks also require a vehicle pass. Privately-operated and non-profit ski areas that receive Grant-in-Aid funding will require skiers to have the pass and may also charge an additional trail fee.

Ski Passes cost $5 for one day, $15 for one season, or $40 for three winters (prices effective winter 2009-2010).

Passes can be purchased at:

  • Electronic Licensing Systems at over 1700 locations around the state
  • Minnesota State Parks (with a few exceptions)
  • DNR License Bureau, 500 Lafayette Road, St. Paul, MN
  • On the DNR website using a credit card
  • By phone using a credit card (a $3.50 processing fee is charged)
  • By mail
